Our psychosocial mentors understand that ‘recovery’ is not about living without mental health symptoms, but building and sustaining a life with meaning, defined on your terms.

Inclusive Allied Health uses ‘Functional Recovery’ principles to deliver our psychosocial mentor service.

We want to help you retain or regain skills that help you live your life independently, recognising that mental illness can interrupt and impact the way you are able to undertake daily tasks at home and in the community.

We also recognise that there are times when things are going well and you don’t need as much support, and other times life can get tricky, and having additional assistance can be helpful.

Our mentors get it.

We understand than mental illness and mental health can greatly impact the way participants live their lives at home and in the community.

Our Mentors:

  • Work with your allied health team to implement your goals

  • Provide support to connect with your community

  • Assist with maintaining skills for personal activities of daily living

  • Develop or maintain skills to look after your home

  • Develop or maintain skills to engage with work, study or school

  • Support social relationships with family and friends
